FAQs

What approach does 1mind use when developing products?

1mind employs a privacy-by-design approach, acting as the gatekeeper for the information we collect. This enables us to better scrutinize government requests and detect any attempts to access any user related information.

What is a government request anyways?

A government request, for the purposes of this report from 1mind, refers to instances when a government seeks user information from us. Governments may request information from software companies like ours, such as user account details to assist in their investigations.

When does 1mind respond to a government request?

Government requests can vary and be formally issued or informal. We do not disclose user information solely based on a government request. All requests must be lawful and supported by official documentation such as a subpoena, court order, or other valid legal processes before 1mind will comply. We also notify users prior to disclosing their information, unless prohibited by law or if doing so could pose a risk of injury or death.

Does this report include every government request you’ve ever received?

Yes, this report includes all data requests we have received.

Will you release reports like this in the future?

We are committed to maintaining a high level of transparency regarding government requests to preserve our customers’ trust. Therefore, we will continue to provide updated reports regularly.
